This workshop explores the Ayurvedic understanding of midlife change and how shifting Pitta, Vata, and Kapha influence the body and mind during the perimenopause transition.
In Ayurveda, perimenopause is not viewed as a decline, but as a powerful transformation of Agni. This is the sacred inner fire that governs digestion, vitality, clarity, and spiritual energy. As Agni shifts some experience heat, restlessness, sleep changes, emotional intensity, or new sensitivities in the body. Rather than suppressing these changes, Ayurveda invites us to learn how to tend the fire with care, and listen to the wisdom of what our bodies are telling us.
Together we’ll explore supportive herbs, rituals, and daily practices to help tend this fire with balance and care. Participants will craft their own Ayurvedic massage oil blend specific to your Ayurvedic constitution, learn ayurvedic self-massage techniques and leave with an Ayurvedic Perimenopause Self Care bag including your customized oil and other nourishing goodies to continue your supportive sadhana at home.
This gathering is both educational and experiential. A space to learn, reflect, and reconnect with the body’s natural rhythms through the lens of Ayurveda.
