While Ayurveda is the science of life, for me sisterhood is its medicine. Culturally and in community, this is by and large the work of women, in the care of their communities and I'm so honoured to step into this work in a meaningful way.
As a child, before I could walk I began receiving regular abhyanga oil massages from my mother, though we called it 'malish-palish', a tradition I continue today with my own son. When we would visit India in the summers we would grab the oil bottle and follow my Nani (maternal grandmother) around hoping she would would anoint us slathered with the nourishing oil, just like she did before her daily prayer each morning. As pre-teen and teen girls, my sister, cousin and I would have sleep overs, oil and braid our hair, cover our pillows with towels, then mix up a haldi face masks and pray the tumeric didn't stain our faces too much!
For me, this healing medicine of Ayurveda has always been rooted in community, and carried out by the matriarchs. This is the hands on work of my sisters and mothers.

As I build my Ayurvedic bodywork practice, I am offering 40% off all Ayurveda Sessions until the end of March 2026. This is an invitation to receive these therapies at an accessible rate while supporting a growing, heart-led practice rooted in tradition and care.
Ayurveda reminds us that healing is not rushed. It is rhythmic, relational, and deeply personal. These sessions are an invitation to slow down, listen inward, and allow the body to be supported in remembering balance.

.

Rooted in traditional Ayurvedic practices and informed by my immersive study in Kerala, India, my Ayurvedic Bodywork offerings support deep rest, nervous system regulation, and reconnection to the body’s innate intelligence.

During my time in Kerala, I studied classical methods of prakriti (constitution) and vikriti (imbalance) identification, received an introduction to pulse diagnosis. It was dharma in action to be trained in the birthplace of Ayurveda, in traditional oil therapies used for centuries to restore balance across body, mind, and spirit.

I now offer these treatments as a deep bow to my South Asian ancestors, in a gentle, trauma-informed, and client-centered way. My specific form of ayurvedic practice is rooted in honoring the depth of the tradition, the connection to lineage and service, woven directly into the lived realities of modern life.
